At the end of the trail, just ’round the bend, there’s a table at Tony’s awaiting, my friend. Where the trail quits tracking and hungry folks meet, pull up a chair, there’s adventure to eat. Nacho ordinary family affair, Tony brings Mexican sizzle and flair. Skillets come singing with hiss, spit, and steam, fajitas flip-flopping through peppery dreams. Peppers go popping, chopped onions hop, cheese gets to melting and doesn’t know stop. Tortillas twist while tomatoes tumble, one whiff from the kitchen makes hungry guts grumble. South of the border is what I like to order, zesty and zestier, border to border. Seasoned with reason, salted just right, bold little flavors that brighten each bite. But morning comes marching with breakfast in tow, waffles stack high while the hot coffees flow. Eggs doing tricks, crepes flipping with flair, fresh fruit and flapjacks go flying through air. Portions come packed, stacked up to the max, you may waddle out wider than when you came back. Breakfast is banging, but lunch sings along, with wings wearing sauces from mellow to strong. The menu keeps moving, revolving in rhyme, a different little flavor may greet you next time. So when wandering Waupun with hunger to quell, follow that trail till you reach where it ends… then follow the smell. Sizzle and hiss. Flip, flap, fajita.
